2026 Is Rough For Artists, So I Made This Company To Output My Creativeness.

Technically, 2022 was the start of when it began to suck for artist. Although AI was founded in the 1950's since about March of 2020, AI has become somewhat of a problem: and I don't mean that it's literally everywhere and used in every day life, I mean that Covid-19 was probably if not was the absolute start of Generative AI art and the issues it causes to the art communities. When I say "get rid of AI," I am honestly just talking about getting rid of Generative AI in the art and design world. In just 2025 alone, AI took over 20,000 jobs, and is expected to take over 300 MILLION by 2030 world wide. This is a HUGE issue! I do support AI for science/medicine, like as a true and unique tool; There are places out there that are making AI tools to find out if there's potential cancer in patients or even to helping with personalized care and operational efficiency. Being a creative mind is unimaginably (no pun intended) difficult in 2026; I have the background knowledge of a person with a B.A, however because I don't ACTUALLY have a B.A, people aren't even willing to give me and others like me a chance to show our skills. Most of us are self-taught, and some of us have been taking classes to learn, WHICH IS GREAT, but even IF you have a degree, AI rules us out, especially when it comes to making graphics or anything marketing related. At the company I used to work at, before "self resigning," My job was being replaced repeatedly and repeatedly since the start. All I wanted to do and still want to do is make a change in the world in a positive way with the art I can make. I started out making things from scratch in Canva (BARF I do NOT like Canva), which honestly was enjoyable for a start; I was told during the hiring process I could use Adobe, but that apparently changed right before I was hired. Then, they officially launched Gen. AI (generative AI) into my state, and that's when EVERYTHING went down hill: we had a... lack of better words, "Higher Marketing Team," to which when the Gen. AI dropped into the company, their work load got less and less, which meant that they ended up just taking over my job. I could honestly have done my job remotely at the rate this all was going at, however, they wanted an admin at an office that sounded like was going to eventually shut down. I sat there for about 3 months, doing bare minimum, trying to keep myself busy with cleaning or emailing or anything, but with an office so slow that I had work once a month, there isn't much I could do. My story is probably the most positive (as positive as it can get of course) to losing a job to Gen. AI. There are so many more and definitely worse stories out there that are just awful to hear, and the job market is ROUGH! Going back, all I want to do at the end of the day, is to make someone else's thoughts for a graphic or a character or whatever is needed to succeed, to become a reality they can physically see, and not just in their head. Being so creative that I get headaches from the amount of characters I store in my mind or even the stories I create in my mind is truly rough, and I didn't start out of the womb as an artist. I learned how to draw, how to use photoshop, Illustrator, adobe products as a general, I researched cameras after my father and stepmother (love you guys) gave me my first camera (WHICH I STILL HAVE AND LOVE), I did what EVERY artist has to do to try and get by in a world that Gen. AI is slowly taking over. I don't want to just be seen, I want people's vision to have life. A lot of Gen. AI post's don't have life. When I say this, I don't mean that it's not there, so obviously there's "life." What I mean when there's no life, I mean it almost ALWAYS looks to bland, warped (in bad ways), wrong text or not real text, or even smearing/smudging/mixing of text, people, and objects that clearly aren't meant to be mixed. You can especially see it in in Gen. AI Art or videos; it's like it can't tell if something is hair in wind or a bug splat, and it saddens me to see such potential be ruined by Gen. AI. Having said all of this, this all has lead me to creating this: Vampiric Angel's Resurrection. "Ember Mestra," A character (I've created) whom is part angel and part vampire, that goes by this alias, is about resurrecting ones self with creating "The Cabins." This place is kind of like glamping or renting out a cabin but more like a hotel stay, so most of the cabins are near one another, so you still have the feel of neighbors and a real cabin, but the length stay of a hotel or Air BnB. It's meant to be found by people who are looking to heal to gain a better understanding of themselves or to feel good about themselves. This character and the Gen. AI issues that have become more and more of an issue is what lead to the creation of Vampiric Angel's Resurrection. Vampiric Angel's Resurrection is about you, the reader; yes, Ember is known as the Vampiric Angel, but the point of the company is actually more for a gothic or alternative feel; it's about you (the reader) to feel good about you, your company, your character, your story, whatever it may be, it is about what you want to achieve and feel good about, like when things get hard in your company or in life. I want to try and "resurrect" your feelings in feeling strong about something or yourself, or to "refresh" the feeds on social media or your mind about yourself or book or what ever it may be. This led to the (currently, hopefully not forever) one-man-company's motto: Resurrection, Refresh, Rebirth. To indicate the connection between my company (Vampiric Angel's Resurrection) and my online persona (Ember Mestra, alias), I drew this picture on 4/22/2026:

Originally, I was a small photography company called "Augustus Nolan Photography," which, hi! Online, I am The Vampiric Angel, known as Ember, and all the reasons are above, but in actuality, I am Augustus Nolan. First name and first middle name (I have two!) Welcome to my first blog, I hope this put some interest into what I am trying to work on, and maybe you all could help me achieve my current goal in growing, not only so I can (of course) make money, but also be able to make people smile with digital media/designs/art and photography that is untouched by Gen. AI. Quickly, shout out to my mom. This woman in my life is the reason I have the will to spread my love for creativity in the world. She's inspired a good portion of this, but that's for a different post maybe. Welcome to my dream. I hope that my dreams can help your dreams come to life. From the shadows of your mind, brought to life with creativity. May you all have a good day, good afternoon, good evening, and good night. -Augustus Nolan, 4/23/2026

The reason for this is because I decided to start posting on YouTube! I did some light video editing back in 2022-2024 for someone else, and before that, I also did some video editing for myself on I
